NIBA is the peak body of the insurance broking profession in Australia and represents around 450 member firms and more than individual Qualified Practising Insurance Brokers (QPIBs) throughout Australia. In total NIBA represents an estimated 90% of all insurance brokers in Australia. Since 1982 NIBA has been a driving force for change in the Australian insurance broking industry. It has supported financial services reforms, encouraged higher educational standards for insurance brokers through NIBA and other education providers, and introduced a strong, independently administered and monitored Insurance Brokers Code of Practice for members.
Knightsbridge Insurance Group is a proud member of the Council of Queensland Insurance Brokers (CQIB), a professional association representing 53 Queensland firms across 85 offices. Founded in 1980, CQIB members collectively place over $600 million in annual premiums from more than 200,000 clients. As a not-for-profit mutual association, CQIB supports licensed insurance professionals through continuing professional development, expert resources, and networking opportunities with leading Queensland brokers, enhancing our professional standing and service capabilities.
