CQIB Golf Day: Building Partnerships on the Green
Sometimes the best business relationships are strengthened not in boardrooms, but on the golf course! Our team had a fantastic day at the CQIB Golf Day at Nudgee Golf Course, where we joined our valued underwriting partners from CHU for a memorable round of golf.
While Queensland’s unpredictable weather delivered soggy conditions and plenty of rain, it certainly didn’t dampen our spirits or the quality of conversation. Playing alongside CHU’s underwriting team provided an excellent opportunity to strengthen our partnership and discuss industry insights in a relaxed setting.
These industry events are invaluable for building the relationships that ultimately benefit our clients. Golf might have been challenging in the wet conditions, but the networking, camaraderie, and shared experiences made it a thoroughly enjoyable day.
The CQIB continues to provide excellent opportunities for Queensland insurance professionals to connect, collaborate, and support important causes like Wesley Mission Queensland. We’re grateful to be part of such a vibrant professional community and look forward to the next networking opportunity!
Knightsbridge Goes Beyond: Steadfast Conference 2026 Gold Coast Success!
What a week it’s been! The Knightsbridge team has just returned from the Steadfast Conference 2026 on the Gold Coast, and we’re buzzing with excitement, new insights, and some fantastic achievements to celebrate.
This year’s theme, “Go Beyond,” perfectly captured the energy of the event as we explored how the insurance industry is embracing technology, driving innovation, and rethinking client support. From AI discussions to insurtech innovations, the three-day program was packed with valuable insights that we’re excited to bring back to our clients.

– Ryan Allen claimed victory with the Newline Underwriting Prize, enjoy that wine, Ryan!
– Kirsty Macleod secured the coveted HDI prize worth $1,000 to Lululemon, well deserved!
The conference wrapped up in spectacular style with the Greek Island Escape gala dinner, where the industry came together for an incredible cause. We’re proud that Knightsbridge contributed $1,000 towards the impressive $450,000 raised for Guide Dogs Australia, a perfect reminder that our industry’s impact extends far beyond insurance.
A special thank you to HDI Global SE for hosting our team at the gala dinner, providing wonderful opportunities to connect with underwriting teams and management. Having our full team attend, especially our newer members, created invaluable face-to-face connections with the partners we work with every day.
As we head into the rest of 2026, we’re energised and ready to continue “going beyond” in everything we do for our clients and industry. Here’s to building on this fantastic momentum!

Celebrating a milestone birthday for one of our amazing brokers, Tina! On Saturday, we gathered with Tina’s friends and family to mark her 50th in style. The theme was to dress up as something starting with “T” or “C” to match her initials. Maddi and Kirsty joined as Cheerleaders, Johnnie went as Trump, Tina rocked it as Chucky, and Ryan showed up as Thor!
